2023 Les Aubaguetes, Álvaro Palacios, Priorat Dry | Red | Still

Succulent plums mixed with exotic spice and hints of oak make this an astonishing wine from one of the oldest vineyards in Priorat, having been planted in 1901. Extremely uplifting and vibrant on the palate with refreshing acidity, this wine has a long and impressive finish.

2023 La Baixada, Álvaro Palacios, Priorat Dry | Red | Still

The extremely aromatic Baixada has got everything. Blackberry-pure fruit, blossom, crushed herbs and a saline element reflecting the warm mineral soils of its small 1.3 hectare plot within the Finca Dofi. An immensely satisfying finish which seems to go on and on.

2023 Gratallops Vi di Vila, Álvaro Palacios, Priorat Dry | Red | Still

The 2023 Gratallops has intense aromas of licorice, thyme and blackcurrant. Despite facing a severe drought during the vintage, this wine maintains a remarkable balance of pure elegance with a palate rich in both fruit and mineral elements.

Young: 2035 - 2045
2023 Moncerbal, Descendientes de J. Palacios, Bierzo, Galicia Dry | Red | Still

The 2023 Moncerbal with its slate, quartz and marble soils, offers a fine mineral character, beautifully matched with aromas of ripe red cherries, citrus and fresh herbs. The fine, chalky tannins are so well integrated, giving the wine a fantastic structure.

Young: 2027 - 2046
2023 Villa de Corullón, Descendientes de J. Palacios, Bierzo, Galicia Dry | Red | Still

Despite Alvaro’s daughter Lola, describing the 2023 vintage in Bierzo as a year of ‘all weather extremes’, the Villa de Corullón clearly demonstrates carefully crafted elegance and purity. Anticipate fresh raspberries subtly complemented by hints of mushroom and earth, giving the wine a slight savoury quality.

Young: 2025 - 2035
2023 Las Lamas, Descendientes de J. Palacios, Bierzo, Galicia Dry | Red | Still

Only a 7-minute walk from Moncerbal, Las Lamas stands as a unique counterpart, offering subtly different features. This vineyard leans towards a more floral and ripe character compared to its sibling. Expect delicate aromas of rose petals, accompanied by luscious red fruit flavors and supple, velvety tannins.

Young: 2026 - 2045
2023 La Faraona, Descendientes de J. Palacios, Bierzo, Galicia Dry | Red | Still

Fresh yet powerful, La Faraona has so much to give. Incredibly herbal, with notes of thyme and fennel beautifully balanced with evolving black cherry, fresh strawberry and bramble fruit aromas. This wine is the perfect juxtaposition of intensity and purity, and is utterly delicious.

Young: 2029 - 2050
2023 Quiñón de Valmira, Álvaro Palacios, Rioja Dry | Red | Still

Extremely aromatic, the 2023 Valmira is infused with the scent of Spring. Honeysuckle, violets and juicy cherries draw you in, combined with the freshness from the subtle northerly Atlantic breeze. With these flavours and grippy tannins, the finish on this wine lingers endlessly.

Young: 2028 - 2044
